THE FIGHTER LEADS 2011 SAGA NOMINATIONS


Fresh from Tuesday's announcement for the Golden Globe Awards which has The King's Speech commanding with 7 nominations, while a bunch of others followed closely. It is expected that this year's movie award season is getting pretty tight than usual. While The King's Speech leads on the Golden Globe, The Fighter leads the nomination list for the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

In the leading female actor category, there is no question at all as Natalie Portman earned a spot for her eccentric performance in Black Swan. Also nominated is Nicole Kidman's performance in Rabbit Hole. For the actor category, things have been shaping up for a tight competition between True Grit's Jeff Bridges, The Social Network's Jesse Eisenberg and 127 Hours' James Franco.

The SAG Awards ceremony will be conducted on January 30, 2011. Below is the list of this year's SAG Awards nominations for Film Category:
