THE DARK KNIGHT RISES HAS TWO ENEMIES

The closing chapter of the Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy is inching closer for principal photography shooting. While there are merely plenty of mysteries surrounding the story remained unsolved, Warner Bros has came up with a new statement today. According to Screen Rant, they have announced that Anne Hathaway will play Selina Kyle/Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, while Tom Hardy will play the villainous Bane.

Christian Bale will return dressing up the cape crusader cloak for one last time as we have been told numerously that this will be Nolan's last Batman movie. Interestingly, this new casting news is certainly giving out a great amount of refresh interest now. So far, the reaction over the casting is pretty positive at least for Green Tea Movie.

This is what Nolan had to say about the casting:
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story… I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.
Catwoman is one of the characters that have been shortlisted as a possible villain in the new movie. Of course, Anne Hathaway is also one of those who have been linked to that role. For some, the character of Catwoman is pretty much a 'shade of grey'. Catwoman's history in the Batman universe is tricky for its real agenda. While also considering how this character will influence the plot in The Dark Knight Rises; whether or not Catwoman remained anyway in the villain lane might as well depending on some rumors if Talia Al Ghul will appear in the movie. Talia might have some impact on the movie because of the deep tie-in with the first movie. We do not know about that since there is no words about the possibility that Talia Al Ghul, the daughter of Raz Al Ghul (from Batman Begins, 2005 played by Liam Neeson) would appear yet. As for now, I am still suspecting Talia might ended up in the new saga.

Bane on the other hand, is known for his brutality besides his thug pumping muscles. For this role, Tom Hardy will portray the rogue and it would be surprises me if Hardy will pumps himself up like this.

Certainly not. The last time Bane was featured in any Batman movies was back in the flaming days of Batman & Robin. It would seems more justified because I believe Nolan will give Bane some narrative portion of back-story rather than a very irking scenario like in the trashed Joel Schumacher's film. Hardy prior to this announcement has been linked to various villainous role, including the iconic Hugo Strange. Now, we got an answer.

No matter what it is, we hope to hear more on The Dark Knight Rises soon. Shooting will begin this spring and is aiming for a July 2012 release.
