TRAILER OF CONAN THE BARBARIAN OFFERS "I LIVE, I LOVE, I SLAY"

Lionsgate has finally landed their first teaser of Conan The Barbarian online. The project has been in development hell for years before Marcus Nispel came in to direct the separate and fresh adaptation from the 80's Arnold Schwarzenegger films which is itself based on the character of same name from Robert E. Howard. Honestly there are not much can be talked about the movie in terms of real footages, story or anything so far. The teaser (as the name suggests) could only coined one sentence towards the end of the trailer for you to ponder what actually Conan meant. Oh, that phrase I have to say is kind of lame and pathetic to begin with.

Anyway, let's watch the trailer shall we?

Does the music sounds anything familiar? Anyway, plot-wise, Conan The Barbarian tells a quest that begins as a personal vendetta for the fierce Cimmerian warrior soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.

The trailer looks so cheesy, particularly that the 60 seconds trailer is only consisting of trails of smokes with characters flashing in and out. However we do know that Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols, Ron Perlman, Stephen Lang and Rose McGowan are starring in the film. Conan The Barbarian is setting up for some sword and sorcerer fight coming August 19 in the United States and tentatively August 25 here in Malaysia. Oh no, it's coming in 3D too
