It surprises the hell out of me when director Michael Bay first casted several key new casts which have some profile resume. Last year, Bay decided to go more mythological approach and more quality casting instead, when Ken Jeong, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey were all casted. Yesterday, French version of Transformers trailer was online with not much of a new footage that we have not seen.
However, Malkovich and Dempsey are clearly seen in split second in the trailer. John Malkovich plays the role of Bruce, Sam's boss while Patrick Dempsey will play Carly's (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) boss who is a race-car collector and also a race driver himself, presumably from Daytona. Malkovich is clearly seen at 0:22 of the video while Dempsey appears at 0:36-0:37. You can watch the trailer below:
Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be releasing at the end of June in selected locations while in the United States, it will open at July 1. Michael Bay directs with a returning casts like Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Frances McDormand, Ken Jeong, Alan Tudyk, John Turturro and Leonard Nimoy.
