So everyone thought the fourth Final Destination was the last. Did you? Apparently not. Last year, Green Tea Movie mentioned about the fifth film was announced for release later this year and the next thing is we have ourselves a brand new teaser trailer. Watch the teaser trailer embedded below, though I am not so sure if this trailer will be last for how long on Youtube. (Do inform me if the video is broken!)
Now, here's the synopsis: "Twelve years after the explosion of Flight 180, Sam Lawton (Nicholas D'Agosto) has a premonition about the bridge he is on collapsing, killing him and many around him. As the vision becomes reality, Sam manages to save himself and a few others. However, Sam and his girlfriend Molly (Emma Bell), discover that Death is still after them and the ones who survived the gruesome accident." So it is true that the story this time will focus on the survivor of the falling suspension bridge.
Okay, the same premise again. You survived the freaking accident but later you got killed in some order. It is not a new plot premise but one wonder why it is till exists. However, upon watching the trailer, I thought this may be as good as the first two film in the franchise. I don't know - just saying since it I am not really a fan of FD franchise. Also note the character of William Bludworth (the coroner) is back in this one.
Final Destination 5 or formerly known as the disastrous title, 5nal Destination will stars Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell, Tony Todd, Courtney B. Vance and Miles Fisher. Steve Quale directs from the script by Eric Heisserer. The horror-supernatural movie will be opening on August 12 in United States and a fortnight later in Malaysia, and it is in 3D!
