SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON: NO CALCULUS FOR TINITN, MORE AVENGERS, SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN

Do you know what is Green Tea Movie's top ambition all these while? Of course, it has been a great desire for me to attend and to cover the annual Comic-Con in San Diego that is. Unfortunately, Green Tea Movie will have to stick in Malaysia, so it will be another customary of seeing people having fun and reading people's experience at Comic-Con. No worry, even if I am not there, I am here to bring you some updates on the on-going Comic-Con 2011 at San Diego. #1: NO CALCULUS FOR "TINTIN"

From CS: Fans of Hergé's original "Tintin" comic series have noticed that a major recurring character has been missing from both footage and casting announcements connected to the upcoming Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson film adaptation. Today, ComingSoon.net had the opportunity to speak with both directors at the Comic-Con press conference and asked directly whether we'd be seeing Professor Calculus on the big screen this December. Unfortunately, it looks like The Adventures of Tintin will be a non-Calculus affair.

"Calculus doesn't yet make an appearance in our cinematic version of 'Tintin,'" said Jackson, "Obviously, if we're lucky enough to do more 'Tintin' movies, there's a lot of stories that Calculus features in. We would absolutely look forward to seeing him in the future."

REMARK: Professor Calculus is a renowned character in the Tintin universe, himself a great inventor. So I huess it is pretty easy to say that Spielberg and Jackson are holding back the character for the planned sequel. If the sequel plan works well, Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg may adapt "The Seven Crystal Ball" and "Prisoners of the Sun" story into the sequel which will have the character Calculus been featured prominently. Jackson will direct the sequel nonetheless.

#2: TWO MORE MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS ARTWORK RELEASED

NEWS: If you followed Green Tea Movie's artwork released on The Avengers yesterday, you have already seen four artwork for the characters in the upcoming Marvel Studios' mega-project The Avengers. Iron Man, Captain america, Hawkeye and Black Widow were featured yesterday and of course you can head back into this link to view again.

Now, Marvel Studios has released another two artworks - this time featuring Thor and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents headed by Nick Fury. So enjoy the artwork below:

#3: SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN ARTWORK RELEASED

NEWS: Following the panel session for Universal Picture's Snow White and the Huntsman in the on-going Comic-Con, Universal Pictures has released four character artwork on the upcoming movie, highlighting characters played by Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin.
