TRAILER: SUPER BOWL FOR THE HUNGER GAMES

Lionsgate's upcoming ultra-popular adaptation 'The Hunger Games' has received a piece of 67-seconds spot during the Sunday's Super Bowl. Catch the quick glimpse right after the jump.

This promotional trailer features yet again on the buildup for Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss Everdeen, the protagonist for the movie. Once again, the trailer features the buildup rather than the actual Games which is the main focus of the whole movie. Why is it so? Practically I already have enough of those chains leading to the real deal but a little actions here and there from the actual Games won't hurt the anticipation right?

Here's the official synopsis of 'The Hunger Game':
In a dystopian future America is now Panem, a nation made up of twelve impoverished districts, all ruled by a militant capitol where technology and excess are a way of life. Every year the capitol holds a televised battle royal, where one male and female teenager from the twelve districts must battle to the death for the pleasure of capitol. When a young hunter from District 12 named Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) sacrifices herself to save her little sister from the games, she embarks on a brave fight for survival that could change a nation.
The Hunger Games will hit theaters in the U.S. and in Malaysia on March 23rd, 2012.
