TRAILER: TAKEN 2, RISE OF THE GUARDIANS

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money, bla bla bla

It's a cool weekend here in Kuala Lumpur - high humidity coupled with breezy air suggest that rain may be coming. Let's not let the rain dampen your spirit as Green Tea Movie is here to bring you two trailers. One is from Liam Neeson and his ass-kicking mission again in the sequel to Taken (well, conveniently known as Taken 2) and another one is about a group of children fantasy characters saving Christmas Easter the world in Rise of the Guardian. Catch both trailers after the jump.

Taken 2 continues the story we have seen in Taken but now pitting the former secret agent against the Albanian gang who obviously wants him death in vengeance of the death of their brothers. Of course, Taken will not be a movie if no one was taken or abducted. Taken 2 is coming to Malaysia on October 4 with Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen and Rade Sherbedgia starring in this 20th Century Fox distributed movie. The international trailer is here:

Next is the brand new trailer for DreamWorks Animations' second feature of the year - Rise of the Guardian. The film adapts William Joyce‘s children book in which modern mythological figures such as Santa Claus (Alec Baldwin), the Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher), the Sandman (Tom Kenny), and Jack Frost (Chris Pine), band in a team to save the world. In the first trailer back then, it surprisingly lacked the character introduction of Jack Frost and the this one emphasizes a lot on him nevertheless.

The plot synopsis is as follows:

"RISE OF THE GUARDIANS is an epic and magical adventure that tells the story of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, and Jack Frost – legendary characters with previously unknown extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children everywhere."

Catch Rise of the Guardian in cinemas nationwide on November 22.
