John Rambo has been given a new assignment as Nu Image/Millennium Films has given a greenlight for a new movie. Rambo 5, the fifth mission for Sylvester Stallone will see him return as a director and main cast.
But here is a trick! John Rambo's mission will goes sci-fi this time. Apparently this is a different approach from his killing instinct with his machine gun bullets flying non-stop hitting each and every enemy's head with brutality and coldness in him.
In a recent interview with AICN, Sylvester confirmed that the movie will not be just another war movie and certainly not about fighting his way “through human traffickers and drug lords to rescue a young girl abducted near the U.S.-Mexico border.” The story involves a secret U.S. military installation where they are doing experiments to create “brilliantly instinctual killer soldiers that have no qualms about taking life.” And when things go wrong, Rambo is brought in with a Black Ops squad to hunt, capture and kill these chemically engineered creations.
Looks like John Rambo is venturing into Doom or Resident Evil type of adventure now? By the way, this movie will be given a working title - Rambo V: The Savage Hunt. Stallone is currently busy with his The Expendables while awaiting next spring for a newer Rambo movie.
