Yeti is a monkey or ape-form creature that is considered as a mythological symbol for those living in the Himalayas. They will appear in a film, all thanks to Sam Raimi. We did catch how they really look like and how they can really act in last year’s The Mummy 3, the one with this woody Chinese emperor mummy that looks like Jet Li very much.
Sam Raimi (Drag Me To Hell, 30 Days of Night) has signed to produce a supernatural horror film entitled Refuge. Tom De Ville will write a script while British director Corin Hardy will be given the task to direct.
According to SlashFilm and The Hollywood Reporter, Refuge centers on a remote town terrorized by a Yeti, the mythological creature native to the mountains of the Himalayas.”
