Forced to become members of a cell that has plans to carry out a political assassination, they must work together to extricate themselves while being led by a mysterious voice.

My Verdict:

Green Tea says:

Why would the promotion playing so hard to remind me of Disturbia? I thought Disturbia, been the silent psychological success was above the average, but Eagle Eye is few steps ahead. Rising star of Shia LaBeouf, added with the team he so familiar with and Steven Spielberg on the executive role, you got the always good blend of bringing it in. Eagle Eyes works in many sense; the thrill, the suspense and the story. Shia proved himself again a versatile actor and he is still good despite the recent popularity he gained over the year. Michelle Monaghan is good as well but the two main did not have the much chemical bond to gel. The experienced supporting casts were excellent especially Mr Thornton. However, the impacts are not as big as it thought

The plot is complex to follow but seems hard to follow. The plots have many cross-links here and there, may get difficult to understand. But as mentioned earlier, it get easy once you know the exact plan - meaning towards to end of the movie. The story on the other hand is geniusly crafted events with bigger plots and more suspense as well as its intense environment. Many critics believed however that these chase seems useless because they don't bring the story further, which I agree as well. The bad thing about the story is that complex as it is, it is still too shallow, predictable and yet an ordinary piece of action. Trailers was good and I had a bit of disappointment. Cinematography works are good and unique. The good thing is during the chase at the conveyor belt of the airport, they were done without effects and still awesome. The car chase in the beginning one was a bit shaky and blur but still the chaotic havoc feel is there.

Eagle Eyes is a watchable movie, few plausible moments and you barely need a lot of consciousness to go through it. Seriously, one of the best on its genre and top ten movies of the year and it is imminnent!
