The movie Sherlock Holmes will find its audience on Christmas Day. The movie will be a hit to watch and considering Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel McAdam are in the movie. Now Guy Ritchie may find himself a new project to deal with soon.
According to Variety and EO, Ritchie has picked up a new DC Comic's adaptation of the psycho sci-fi biker bounty hunter - Lobo. Lobo is of course was created in 1983 by Keith Griffin and Roger Slifer in accordance to Marvel's ultraviolent character - The Punisher.
Akiva Goldsman is set to produce the latest venture for Warner Bros, putting the attention a bit away from Batman and Superman for a moment. Joel Silver and Andrew Rona are producing as well.
However the story may not satisfy the ultra-violent conceptual of the comic. The studio is aiming for a PG13 rating for Lobo - "where he teams with a smalltown teenage girl to stop four fugitive bent on wreaking havoc." The story may not be as fulfilling as it is set on but no words on casting yet - which I believe will be critical for the movie to stand.
On another note, EO and other sources are reporting that Big Momma House 3 is in the making as well. Randi Mayem Singer, who previously wrote Mrs Doubtfire, will write this new film. So is this really necessary to make another sequel?
