It looks like the director is serious about it. According to EO and The Hollywood Reporter, Singer in his interview at Pusan International Film Festival has gave much indication that he would like to return into the X-Men franchise.
While several reports have linking him with the director chair for X-Men spin-off First Class and sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the man confirmed that he is in talk with Fox about the idea.
"I'm still looking to possibly returning to the X-Men franchise. I've been talking to Fox about it," said Singer.
With producer Lauren Shuler Donner recently saying that X-Men 4 maybe a possibility, will Singer back to his homegrown of the X-Men franchise again after the franchise suffered a low-down thanks to Brett Ratner's poor execution of X-Men: The Last Stand?
For Singer, he has X-Men: First Class, X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, X-Men 4 and The Usual Suspects 2 all under him.

I think, he sould back direct the 4th installment of X-Men. [might be the 1st, coz' it might be prequel or reboot or reimaging] still, he should direct NOT Brett Ratner. His style is unlike that of the previous X-Men films. 3rd installment of X-Men were mess and worst movie in superhero francise. Even thought X-Men Origin: Wolverine lack/poor cgi effect [like the leak version]. it still entertaint and great storyline [to me]. Hopefully Bryan Singer back to direct X-Men francise. Fingercross.
