You may have or may have not watch the original Exorcist film. The nauseating original classic of horror back in 1973 has been a cult culture but now William Peter Blatty, author of the original novel The Exorcist and its screenplay, is talking about the remake in TV mini-series form.

Would it be the same as the original? Blatty answered, "But I might have it my way in the near future, inasmuch as I've written an Exorcist miniseries script that not only faithfully includes all the main elements of the novel, but also some rather spooky new material and scenes, as well as a totally new (and perhaps much more satisfying) ending. I've also updated it."

So who is going to direct? Not confirmed but Blatty replied, "Billy Friedkin has agreed to direct". Of course, Billy Friedkin is the original director as well, but the revelation is not unfound yet since Fredkin may not know anything about the new project at all.

Wow...another attempt of making so much about Exorcist? Did you remember how many Exorcist installments we have seen over the years? So, could remaking Exorcist into a TV mini-series will work?
