The writers of Zombieland, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will be writing a script for the big screen comic book adaptation of Deadpool, as stated by The Hollywood Trades. In addition to that, Ryan Reynold will reprise the role he portrayed in last year's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The parent studio, 20th Century Fox is not sure when the film would go into production since the star is busy filming the DC Comics adaptation of Green Lantern. The script is not yet finished and no director has been assigned for it.
Considering how Reese and Wernick have done to Zombieland, it could be the best suit for the Deadpool persona.
