From the studio that brough you Happy Feet and the director of 300 and Watchmen, comes an animated film based on the series of the children's fantasy books, Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky. Zack Synder is the director and will see his first attempt on an animation.

The first trailer was released by Warner Bros and I have to say it looks like another 3D money raking movie, impressive effects and cinematography though. The voice casts include Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Emily de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Hugo Weaving, Sam Neill and Helen Mirren.
Legend of the Guardians is based on the first three installments of the book series: The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue.
