The legendary explorer, Marco Polo will be made into a movie - that's the plan under Warner Bros right now. The success of Sherlock Holmes has made the studio hungry for more adventures and now Marco Polo, the 13th century explorer will get the similar treatment under the safeguard of the Warner studio.I Am Legend's Francis Lawrence has been attached to direct the movie under the script of Adam Cooper and Bill Collage. The movie will sets in the 13th century, with real-lfe adventures of Polo, a Venetian merchant who traveled with his father and uncle across Asia during Kublai Khan's rule.
Variety quoted Cooper to say, "We see this as something that takes place in the Orient of our imagination amid the cultural clash of the East and the West."
