Earlier this month, Paul WS Anderson's version for The Three Musketeers 3D was boasted with a huge casting - a rather prolific and outstanding ensemble of casts. Read the news that Green Tea Movie had reported earlier which includes Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman and Mads Mikkelsen.
Over the past weekend, three additional casting were made by Anderson. British actor James Corden was casted for the role Planchet, who ends up acting as servant to the Three Musketeers. Another British actress Juno Temple (the girl we saw in Year One) was casted for the role of Queen Anne.
The latest news has that Orlando Bloom (no surprise considering he has been long tipped for one as well), has confirmed the previous dangling rumours that he will join the big rpoduction to play the Duke of Buckingham, according to a report on Variety.
With a script by TV stalwart / Bridget Jones's Diary scribe Andrew Davies and Predators’ Alex Litvak, it’ll start shooting in September, aiming to beat Doug Liman and Warners’ take on the tale to cinemas with a planned summer 2011 release date.
