IS THE FLASH READY? PROBABLY

Case was made and we are now waiting for the official. Heat Vision Blog reported that the swift DC Comics - The Flash, may get its releasing soon. After a long running rumours circulating and while various filmmakers and actors have been attached in the past, things have been very slow. Currently, the script is on the writing by Dan Mazeau. The reports from Time Warner (the one who owns Warner Bros Picture) and according to Warner chariman Barry Meyer, Flash is nearing a greenlight status. Thus, we can expect more news coming up sooner revolving this one announcement. But one thing to concern here is that Flash has been on talking points for so long and this could only be a continuation of it. I hope the production really kick starts soon and considering that DC Comics have been greatly lagging behind than what Marvel Studio has been doing, this is a small hope to bundle on.

In the similar presentation by Warner chairman and CEO during the TW's investor day, Meyer announced the 2011 will have about 25 movies slated in and these consists of:
  • Red Riding Hood - April 22
  • The Hangover - May 26
  • Green Lantern (3D) - June 17
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two (3D) - July 15
  • Journey to the Center of the Earth 2 (3D) - September 23
  • Happy Feet 2 (3D) - November 18
  • New Year's Eve - December 9
  • Sherlock Holmes 2 - December 16
Given that 2011 will be the last year with a "Potter" release, Meyer said he guesses that the most successful franchise in motion picture history will have exceeded $7.5 billion in worldwide boxoffice once the final installment ends its theatrical run.

On another keynote, Meyer also expressed his particular interests as that DC Comic characters are the main components of the future in Warner Bros. He also added that Batman 3 (July 20, 2012) and Superman Reboot (holiday 2012) will be the driving factor. Christopher Nolan will be involved on both project. Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Mad characters are also on development too.
