PATRICK DEMPSEY CASTED FOR TRANSFORMERS 3

Like it has been reported and rumoured yesterday, Patrick Dempsey will be switching away from the usual romantic comedy to star in the next Transformers movie. Today, I am going to confirm the rumour. Looks like Michael Bay really changed the setting mood of the film and has been taking in quite a bizarre casting, not to mention, a new frontier of story-telling. Bay has insisted that the mode on Transformers 3 will be more on its story, rather than the big fighting.


The next question is what role Dempsey will be playing? He claimed that his role will be some sort of ‘darker’. Does that mean another human camouflaging bad robot? Probably not although you can’t discounted those yet! You may have seeing him often in Grey’s Anatomy but the casting of Dempsey in the giant robot pic could provide something unusual.


With pre-production is on the way for Chicago’s shooting, Transformers 3 will see the return of Bay and Spielberg as director and exec producer role respectively. The movie has already have Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox on the two main lead whom they will be reprising their previous roles of Sam and Mikaela. Then we will also have Frances McDormand and John Malkovich onboard (seems odd enough).
