DESPICABLE ME

The new theme for an animation these days seems to be focus on the supervillain. In Despicable Me, supervillain is our new hero. Steve Carell continues to mesmerize with his on-screen comedic role and this time he voiced Gru in Despicable Me. Gru is desperate to be a real bad guy after losing some of his touch to a younger villain but at the same time, he needs to take care of three orphans while he is on a mission to achieve his ambition to steal the moon. Let's see how Gru will juggle between the two tasks at the same time this week. Available in normal format and 3D.

Plot: In a happy suburban neighbourhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, Gru (Steve Carell) is planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon! Until, he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. The world's greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Elsie Fisher).

PREDATORS

Predators - a new sci-fi horror hits that served as a continuation of once popular original hit, Predator back in the 1987 while ignoring the one in urban setting on Predator 2. Produced by Robert Rodriquez and directed by Nimrod Antal, Predators bring you around the mystical extra-terrestrial planet where a group of dangerous criminals and killers on Earth were somehow been placed in an outter planet, in a cat and mouse chasing game with the Predator. Check out Predators in cinemas nationwide this week.

Plot: Royce (Adrien Brody) is a mercenary who wakes up on a strange planet along with a ragtag band of killers and warriors who slowly realise that they've been kidnapped for a reason - the planet they're on is an alien hunting ground, and a bunch of Predators want to use them as prey. As a new breed of alien hunters hunts these aliens down, they have to use their collective effort to survive through the tough environment.
