TRAILER: SECOND TRAILER FOR MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS

The wait is over people! If you are excited about the upcoming release of this movie, be sure to remain calm and composed before you proceed to watch this.

Now that you are cool? Good. Head over to after the jump to watch the latest trailer (full length and more detailed version) of the upcoming superhero assembly picture - "Marvel's The Avengers". This is the second trailer following the first one which was released back in December. The trailer is once again embedded below for your viewing pleasures.

There is no secret that both Walt Disney (parent company of Marvel Studios) and Paramount Pictures have invested plenty to market this film. The film has been a prime example of creating a sensational hype at the moment with the studios are releasing every bit of information slowly and gently. Just take the example of how tease you with the villains. If you are thinking that Loki is alone on this one, I can tell you that you are wrong.

Anyway, the trailer is relatively an enhancement of the first trailer which takes things more in-depth and clearly giving away the situation that the world is facing - a new brand of enemy that we have never seen before on a silver screen. As highlighted on the first part of the trailer, we have seen these images before.

Then the trailer takes us to more footage on the recruitment. Starts off from where last year's Captain America movie left us with, the trailer introduces the entry of each household names that you can basically name it. The next part takes us to a more dramatic turn-out. Oh well, probably have something to do with the shift of the musical tone on my headphone but as you can suspect, it gets pretty handy and more exciting. Though I have to say something about Hawkeye - he is still lack of proper screen time, again.

If this trailer is a good indicative of how director Joss Whedon has handled this movie, I can rest my doubt because I generally TRUSTS JOSS WHEDON more than anyone when treating a science fiction-fueled comic book adaptation. Enjoy the trailer once again if you will.

The plot synopsis is as follows:
"When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.
The Avengers continues the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger". Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, and directed by Joss Whedon, "Marvel's The Avengers" is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. "

The Avengers will arrive in theaters on early May in the United States but essentially a week earlier in other territories like Malaysia, United Kingdom and Australia. Distributed by Marvel Studios via Paramount Pictures and directed by Joss Whedon (Serenity), starring an ensemble line up that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Clark Gregg and Samuel L. Jackson.
