Baltasar Kormákur (Contraband) is not a household name in the industry. But Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg are. When the three names combine, you have an interesting crime action drama that spells out as 2 Guns. It looks fun, even when it has that kind of plot that rhymes with cliches some where. But let's not pass the judgement to soon, because 2 Guns could be a late summer dark horse. The film itself is an adaption of the graphic novel of the same name by Steven Grant, the same name who wrote The Punisher. This movie version features Mark Wahlberg as Marcus Stigman, Naval Intelligence Officer and Denzel Washington as Bobby Trench, a DEA agent.
